I Am Andrew

This four-step, prayer-centered plan is a simple way to share your faith in Jesus Christ with friends, family, and neighbors in the months leading up to the Festival.

What is I Am Andrew?

I Am Andrew is a simple tool you can use to pray for your loved ones who don’t know Jesus Christ—and then bring them to the event.

Andrew was one of the first disciples Jesus called during His earthly ministry. The first chapter of John’s gospel recounts how Andrew learned who Jesus was—and then immediately found his brother Simon Peter and brought him to meet the Son of God.

Today, you—and your church members—can do the same by praying for family members, friends, neighbors, and co-workers and then bringing them to hear the Gospel during the Festival de la Esperanza.

“Andrew then went to find his brother ... and he brought [him] to meet Jesus.”

—John 1:41–42, TLB

I Am Andrew Prayer Rally

Will you and your congregation participate in the upcoming I Am Andrew Sunday? On this special day, you can stand with churches across Madrid in encouraging your members to follow Andrew’s example by pledging to introduce your loved ones to Christ.

There are four simple steps:

  • PRAY: Write down the name of someone you know who needs Jesus and then pray each day for him or her. (Download this card to help you.)
  • SHARE: Spend time with your friend. Grab a cup of coffee or attend an event together. Begin to talk to him or her about attending the Festival de la Esperanza with you.
  • BRING: Invite your friend to the event at Vistalegre on 30–31 May and then bring him or her with you.
  • FOLLOW UP: After the Festival is over, bring him or her to church with you. God can use you and your church to bring your friend into a deepening relationship with Jesus Christ.
