Prayer Team

1. Attend Christian Life and Witness Course (CLWC) training
   At this free training class, you will learn simple and practical ways to share your faith—not only with those who stand to make a decision for Christ during the Good News Tour, but in your everyday life too.
2. Submit a prayer team member application
   Applications to serve as a prayer team member are only available at Christian Life and Witness Course classes. Applicants must complete all required steps before their application can be reviewed for approval. You must be 13 years of age or older to apply.
3. Submit a free background check
   All applicants 18 years of age or older are required to submit and clear a free criminal background check.
4. Provide a pastoral recommendation
   All applicants must provide a personal recommendation from a pastor or church leader. You will need the pastor or leader’s name, email address, and phone number, as well as the phone number and address of your church, in order to fill out the prayer team member application. Be sure to have this information with you when you attend the Christian Life and Witness Course training class.

No. Everyone who registers as a volunteer receives a volunteer kit and a free T-shirt. Receiving these items does not guarantee approval to serve as a prayer team member. Once you have completed the prayer team member application process, your application will be reviewed by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive an email letting you know whether or not you have been approved to serve. The review process takes approximately 7 to 10 days.
